Time to plunge into Mitte (Wikipedia)!

A-LIST WALK (5km, 66min net, plan for 2.5hrs)
Walk by Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, Berlin Cathedral and “Alex” TV tower. Optional detours to Museum Island and Nikolaiviertel. Stick with our few food tips in the South, it’s mainly chains down here.

POSH WALK (2km, 24min net, plan for 2hrs)
Starting from beautiful Gendarmenmarkt, it covers the posh part of Friedrichstraße with Galeries Lafayette and Quartier 206, before bringing you to Friedrichstraße station (enter exhibition) and Friedrichstadt-Palast (must-see).

COZY WALK 1 (4km, 45min net, plan for 1/2 a day incl. lunch, etc.)
No. 1 guides you past impressive Volksbühne into Scheunenviertel (“Barn Quarter”) where you can have your quality time and every culinary need satisfied. Continue all the way up to the Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer (“Wall Memorial”, with good exhibition).

COZY WALK 2 (4km, 45min net, plan for 1/2 a day incl. lunch, etc.)
No. 2 starts at Natural History Museum along up-and-coming Chausseestr. turning left to culinary-mile Torstraße. Move on to see more Barn Quarter incl. the fascinating New Synagogue and the very busy Hackesche Höfe courts.
