Follow our walks
We created 3 great walks for you to experience the best of Lisboa.
FLAT WALK (4km, 50min net, plan for 2.5hrs)
Starting from stately Santos, discover the an- cient alleys of Madragoa before reaching the vibrant Rua Boavista – formerly an industri- al area with many repair shops and hardware stores – where you’ll now find a myriad of small cafés and new restaurants. Cross to Cais do Sodré station and roam the waterfront, or return through the famous Pink Street to the Elevador da Bica (queuing might be necessary), that takes you up the hill for a sweeping vista from Miradouro Sta. Catarina.
SHOPPING WALK (3km, 45min net, plan for 2hrs)
Restore energies at a green oasis before indulging yourself with a browse through the lively areas around Bairro Alto and Chiado, packed with stores, cafés and delis. Plenty of stimulation en route!
INSIDERS WALK (5km, 66min net, plan for 3.5hrs)
This varied route starts in the lesser known but visit-worthy Campo de Ourique, leads you past impressive buildings and parks to the city’s hip- pest new corners, and allows a wander through relaxed São Bento before leaving you in the cen- tral square of buzzing Rato.
